The Mission Companion is an approved MVP component for user-initiated, narrowly scoped verification of an active Mission.
It can surface active Mission context, help open the correct LinkedIn post, assist with verification, and show Mission or Credit status. Its observation must stay limited to the minimum page and action state needed for the active Mission.
The Companion does not authorize Calder to collect or reuse your LinkedIn password or session cookies. It must not perform unauthorized scraping, background profile or network harvesting, access-control bypass, anti-detection behavior, spam, fake activity, or unrelated LinkedIn observation.
The current Mission action remains a deliberate human action: you read the relevant content and manually decide, write, and perform the requested action. Automated LinkedIn-side posting, commenting, reacting, messaging, following, connecting, or reposting requires separate validation and is not granted by the Companion's verification scope.
If Companion verification is unavailable or contested, the governed manual fallback remains available.
